Our ethos

Didsbury Therapy Centre was formed to address the dissatisfaction felt after many years working in counselling and therapy centres across south Manchester. Our ethos is that quality care for our clients starts with the quality of the relationship between practitioner’s and their affiliated centre.

We foster mutually respectful collaborations, underpinned by open dialogue and support to grow together as a team.

We only work with practitioner’s offering a high quality service within their therapeutic/clinical area. In turn, we aim to support our practitioners to grow their practice and feel confident about the level of professional client experience they offer.

Respect

Comfort is an important supporting factor in creating the sense of safety that strengthens the therapeutic alliance. The physical, sensory experience of the environment we work in will directly influence the confidence our clients feel in us as professionals. It also sends a message about how we respect and value our clients. In turn, the working conditions a centre provides it’s practitioners demonstrates the level of respect for them.

We respect our practitioners and aim to support them to clearly communicate the value of their service and enhance the confidence clients feel by ensuring our spaces are designed to a high standard and feel professional and inviting.

We aim to meet the gap for therapy rooms that are well-appointed and well maintained, adequately heated, airconditioned, and fully accessible. The working conditions we provide our practitioners demonstrates our respect for members of the Didsbury Therapy Centre.

Admin

We manage client bookings directly so you don’t have to chase payments or invoices. Sessions are pre-paid via our booking management software to secure the slot.
